Effects of methylphenidate on early adolescent growth

Thirty-one hyperactive adolescents treated with methylphenidate for at
least 6 months demonstrated no significant deviation from expected height
and weight growth velocities. In contrast to findings in prepubertal
children, these results suggest that early adolescent growth is insensitive
to methylphenidate.
